About the condition
These tiles were never fixed to a wall, but they have spent decades in boxes. Small chips at the corners and slight changes in the glaze are possible. The photos show this exact lot.
About this lot
8 pc set. Beige, green and brown UNUSED vintage tiles in a floral geometric design. Made in Spain in the late 60s or 70s . Fat lava style, very slightly embossed, "bubbly" glossy finish. These ceramic tiles spent the 50 years in a warehouse near Madrid. They are unused Their condition is very good, although they may have some small imperfections due to the manufacturing process of the time, that was mostly manual.
Can be placed in different directions to create various designs.
These tiles will make a very special wall art gift to decorate an entry room, bathroom or bedroom. Can be hanged on a wall by adding a small adhesive hook or placed on a tile rack to display on a shelf

Fat Lava is the name collectors gave to the thick, bubbly glazes of the 1960s and 70s. The glaze stands up from the tile like cooled lava, so each one catches the light a little differently. Here you will also find heavy brutalist tiles with deep texture and marbled glazes.
