About this lot

Stunning early 20th century ART NOUVEAU - ART DECO vintage hand painted tiles from Spain. Original ceramic from the 10s or 20s .
Each original salvaged tile measures 20 x 20 cm ( 8 x 8 In)

These geometric art deco tiles are in general good condition, despite being almost 100 years old. They show some chips along the sides. Please see pictures for reference.

The tiles were hand painted, each one is slightly different. They are true art pieces. Made using red clay, they are quite thick and heavy, almost 1 kg ( over 2 pounds) each tile!

Please contact us for a quote on several tiles in different styles.

What is Art Nouveau & Deco?

Curving plants, flowers and geometric fans from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco years, about 1900 to 1930. Some are antique and painted by hand; others are later tiles in that style.
