About the condition
These tiles were never fixed to a wall, but they have spent decades in boxes. Small chips at the corners and slight changes in the glaze are possible. The photos show this exact lot.
About this lot
Blue and yellow 60s , 70s vintage tiles, 6 pc set, made in Spain. Adorable romantic flower floral design, combined with a very light fat lava splash at the background. Each tile is
different. Good condition, the tiles with the flowers are unused, while the blue tiles are salvaged from a kitchen renovation in Barcelona. Please see pictures for reference.

What is Fat Lava?
Fat Lava is the name collectors gave to the thick, bubbly glazes of the 1960s and 70s. The glaze stands up from the tile like cooled lava, so each one catches the light a little differently. Here you will also find heavy brutalist tiles with deep texture and marbled glazes.
