About this lot
12 Original vintage glazed Spanish tiles from the 60s or 70s. Some of the tiles are salvaged, while others are unused old stock. Fat lava style slightly embossed geometric brutalist tiles in yellow, ochre, green and orange . Made in Spain in the 70s.
These tiles show all some hair thin crackles on the ename ( not in the clay) as is usually the case with vintage white clay tiles.
This listing is for the 12 pc set.

What is Fat Lava?
Fat Lava is the name collectors gave to the thick, bubbly glazes of the 1960s and 70s. The glaze stands up from the tile like cooled lava, so each one catches the light a little differently. Here you will also find heavy brutalist tiles with deep texture and marbled glazes.

One 11 cm tile covers 0.0121 m², so a square metre takes about 83 tiles. Measure your wall and ask us: we can put several lots together.
