About the condition
These tiles were never fixed to a wall, but they have spent decades in boxes. Small chips at the corners and slight changes in the glaze are possible. The photos show this exact lot.
About this lot
60s - 70s fat lava unused vintage tiles, made in Spain. 4 pc set. Ochre brown glossy retro tiles, theseceramic tiles spent the last 40 to 50 years in a warehouse near Barcelona. Their condition is very good, may have some tiny chips on the enamel at the corners but very superficial. The front of the tiles is almost intact.

What is Fat Lava?
Fat Lava is the name collectors gave to the thick, bubbly glazes of the 1960s and 70s. The glaze stands up from the tile like cooled lava, so each one catches the light a little differently. Here you will also find heavy brutalist tiles with deep texture and marbled glazes.
