About this lot
Original 70s retro decorative tiles. 16 tile set. Green, orange and brown retro 70s vintage tiles, made in Spain. Striking mandala design, fat lava style. Some tiles are SALVAGED but most are UNUSED, in very good condition. some may show some tiny chips at the corners due to having been kept and moved from one warehouse to another during the last 50 years.

What is Fat Lava?
Fat Lava is the name collectors gave to the thick, bubbly glazes of the 1960s and 70s. The glaze stands up from the tile like cooled lava, so each one catches the light a little differently. Here you will also find heavy brutalist tiles with deep texture and marbled glazes.
