About the condition
These tiles were never fixed to a wall, but they have spent decades in boxes. Small chips at the corners and slight changes in the glaze are possible. The photos show this exact lot.

22 pc set of vintage fat lava style tiles from Spain.
- 10 Beige, green and brown UNUSED vintage tiles in a floral geometric design. Made in Spain in the late 60s or 70s . Fat lava style, very slightly embossed, "bubbly" glossy finish. These ceramic tiles spent the 50 years in a warehouse near Madrid. They are unused Their condition is very good, although they may have some small imperfections due to the manufacturing process of the time, that was mostly manual. Each tile measures 15x15 cm , just under 6 x 6 in
- 6 camel brown marble effect glossy vintage tiles from the 70s Each tile measures 7,5 cm x 20 cm , approx 3 in x 8 in
- 6 green GLAZED tiles, hand made in Spain, these are contemporary, totally new but made in the traditional manual style, so that each tile is slightly different. Each tile measures 15x15 cm , just under 6 x 6 in
Can be placed in different directions to create various designs.

What is Fat Lava?
Fat Lava is the name collectors gave to the thick, bubbly glazes of the 1960s and 70s. The glaze stands up from the tile like cooled lava, so each one catches the light a little differently. Here you will also find heavy brutalist tiles with deep texture and marbled glazes.
