About this lot
70s vintage tiles from Spain. 16 Original vintage reclaimed tiles from the early 70s , made with red clay. Typically 70s groovy, flower power geometric - fat lava design in different shades of blue on a white or cream background.
Will make an original piece of wall art. You can place them in different directions to create different designs . These tiles are in good condition but please keep in mind that they are salvaged and may have small chips along the sides due to their age

What is Fat Lava?
Fat Lava is the name collectors gave to the thick, bubbly glazes of the 1960s and 70s. The glaze stands up from the tile like cooled lava, so each one catches the light a little differently. Here you will also find heavy brutalist tiles with deep texture and marbled glazes.
