About the condition
These tiles were never fixed to a wall, but they have spent decades in boxes. Small chips at the corners and slight changes in the glaze are possible. The photos show this exact lot.
About this lot
4 PC SET. Stunning blue 70s vintage tiles, made in Spain. Floral abstract design, fat lava - brutalist style, Made in Spain in the Valencia province in the late 60s or early 70s.
Unused, in good condition, although some may have a tiny chip at a corner or a very supeficial scratch on the paint. We will send a picture of the chosen tile before shipping. Several pieces available. These tiles are really unique.

These tiles will make a very special wall art gift to decorate an entry room, bathroom or bedroom. Can be hanged on a wall by adding a small adhesive hook or placed on a tile rack to display on a shelf or they will make great trivets to place your hot pans or dishes on them.
Each tile measures approx 20 cm - just under 8 in, they are very thick, approx 2 cm 3/4 in. and very heay , over 1 kg
The 4 tiles together, placed in a square shape will measure 40 x 40 cm. ( approx 16 x 16 in)
You can place them in different directions to create different designs.

What is Fat Lava?
Fat Lava is the name collectors gave to the thick, bubbly glazes of the 1960s and 70s. The glaze stands up from the tile like cooled lava, so each one catches the light a little differently. Here you will also find heavy brutalist tiles with deep texture and marbled glazes.
