These tiles were saved from a home in Spain, so they may show small marks from their years on a wall. The photos show this exact lot.
About this lot
2 piece set. Blue and red on white 70s vintage tiles, made in Spain mid century decor. Geometric design. The tiles are salvaged, although in very good condition, some tiny chips at the corners. Please see pictures for reference. Can be placed or displayed in different directions to create multiple designs. Slightly embossed, fat lava "bubbly" technique used on the red part of the design.
These tiles will make a very special wall art gift to decorate an entry room, bathroom or bedroom. Can be hanged on a wall by adding a small adhesive hook or placed on a tile rack to display on a shelf-

Made by Spanish manufacturer Saloni, from San Juan de Moro in the province of Castellón. The factory was established in 1971 and is still active today.

What is Fat Lava?
Fat Lava is the name collectors gave to the thick, bubbly glazes of the 1960s and 70s. The glaze stands up from the tile like cooled lava, so each one catches the light a little differently. Here you will also find heavy brutalist tiles with deep texture and marbled glazes.
